It's very tough. Everysmoking aid I tried didn't work for me. I just walked one day off my job and said okay I'm not smoking anymore. I haven't now for a year. I've heard many people say great things about about smokeaway product. I know many who thought it wouldn't work but foung it did.

Let me add that my job was at a Hospital. On a daily basis I took care of people that couldn't breath and just was exhausted to go to the bathroom and exhausted because they couldn't catch their breath even with oxygen mask on. It's very sad. Copd ,emphizema, Lung caner, it was enough to make me see what my future will be at 50-60 years.

I need some tips too! Here's one way that might help: A year ago I was smoking 2 pks a day but now I am down to just a half a pack a day, not because I want to, it's because of the cost! Mine are now: 5.50 a pack! If it get's any higher, I will have to quit all together! Don't want to, I enjoy it too much, but just can't afford it!

I think its ur self motivation which wud lead to u in stop smoking....its not very difficult if you hav a very strong will power....dont take the excuse that u r addicted to it...there's not a thing in this world to which u can get addicted to....or shud i say u cant leave.....so be self motivated.....and put some posters in ur bedroom or ur sleeping place that "SMOKING KILLS"....that'll help u alot.

There are many options from taking tablets, wearing patches, chewing gum or going cold turkey. I was told that a person giving up smoking should wait 5 minutes before lighting up when they get the urge to smoke. In that time, clean your teeth and have a drink of water and then generally it helps to get rid of the urge. I am not so sure it works (well, not for me anyway) but it might be worth a try.
