Wait a minute my friend, you're cheating.
I said "a" super or supernatural power.
You want two.
Just kidding.
I would love to be able to fly
also. Imagine the places you could
visit. That's one of my biggest dreams.
To travel the world.
It would be cool to turn back time and
change some things for the better. Both
in my life and that of the world.

I too find the Japanese culture fascinating. Believe
it or not I would also like to visit the Middle East
and understand the true nature of Islam. Not the junk
we see daily splashed on our tv screens.
I agree, I really wouldn't want to change major events
in the past. My main goal would be to experience many
cultures and events throughout time.

hahaha! am i being greedy? ^__^
i want to travel the world too. i want to go to lots of places and number 1 of them is japan. i've always been interested with the japanese culture and everything. and if i can fly, i wouldnt have to worry about traffic and getting late for an appointment. lol.
i want to turn back time but i wont want to change history. maybe i'll change little things that concerns myself like studying harder for an exam or waking up early to catch the bus. ^__^ i want to turn back time to experience some events in history.

This is a very interesting question, both to see what people have said and to think myself of what power I would want. I think I would like the power to convey sympathy to people, when I touch their hand, they would understand what someone else is thinking and feeling. So much of the world's misery is because we can't walk in someone else's shoes. If I could convey that understanding, I think I would help a lot of people (including myself) lead better lives.

That indeed is a very unique and interesting
power to use. Think of the emotional suffering
and abuse that would surely disappear.
Combine your ability with firechick72's answer
and we might have a world pretty close to utopia.

Sixth sense, maybe. But now I don't have the ability anymore. I remember that when I was younger, my mind could always see events happening a few seconds before they did. Once, when I was a student at a high school, I foresaw some one falling from the upper floors, the accident happened right after some images on my mind stop to flash.

Mr. smkwan2007,
maybe you're carrying too much weight for your frame, or eating too late,
or drinking too late, or not eating enough, or eating the wrong things...
i know you've got it in you...

Since my day gets so busy, I would like the power to go from one place to another in just a blink. Imagine not have that long commute from home to work. What a great power that would be.

Wow, never thought about that. I figured flying
is good enough but this rocks. It would be like
the old I Dream of Jeannie series. If anyone has
a clue what I'm talking about. It's still around
in reruns. Catch it, it's crazy!
I would love to blink myself anywhere at any time.
As I'm writing this I think I'd blink myself to
the island where the LOST survivors are! Just
kidding.

there are so many that I would like but if I could only choose one it would have to be the power of healing. the heart as much as the physical stuff.

So noble. A gift that gives to others. I'm
not surprised, considering who it's coming
from. Imagine the joy that power would spread.

Always my pleasure. It took me a while to get
back to everyone today though. I went out of
town yesterday on business and got back earlier
today and passed out. Mmmmmm.

Being able to know one's thoughts has always
intrigued me. That can be a blessing or curse.
You have to be a very mature person to be able
to handle such a power.

I would like to have the power of immortality. That way, I would be able to achieve a lot and acquire lots of knowledge. And they say knowledge is power, so I will add more powers.

I'd love to have that but with the option to
die if and when I want. Someday, the human race
probably won't be here. I don't think I want to
be around afterward. I also want to make sure I
have my health so I don't end up lying on a bed
for eternity.
You're right, it would be a wonderful thing to
acquire so much knowledge. How to properly apply
this knowledge is the true test of wisdom.

this is quite a hard choice to make really, there are so many powers that would come in handy in different situations, i mean x ray vision if you needed to find something quick, super strength if you needed to move something really heavy. but overall it would be x ray vision just because it would be really cool and would come in handy in so many situations

for solving crimes. I would also like

This question really made me think.
The super power I want to have given the chance to have one is the ability to give 1 wish to every poor family, 1 wish that can make a great change to thier life.
A wish that will only come true if the person wishing for it is really sincere and it will really benefit them.

Awesome thought. First the fact that you're
willing to share the ability to benefit others.
In addition to that, the wish you would grant
comes with a degree of responsibility. As does
everything else in life.

In this order...1. invisible. 2. Fly 3. travel through time

Out of the three you chose. Traveling through
time would be my favorite. I can imagine the
things I would see, the people I would meet,
the knowledge I could gain, etc.
Flying would be cool, because I would love to
travel the world. Again, for me it's about the
obtainment of knowledge.
Being invisible could create some very interesting
scenarios. The good I could do with this ability.
The places I could go where I would never be allowed
otherwise. I'm not talking bout womens locker rooms
but on a much grander political and financial stage.

I would have to go with his speed of flight. Just think, you can go to any destination in the world at your whim. No more costly air fares. You can also escape easily from devastating storms, tsunamis, earthquakes and other disasters. But the sad part is that I have vertigo. :(
@jumpinjack00 (3054)

That would be a sad but somehow funny thing.
Being able to fly but have vertigo, whoa.
I'd love to fly as well. To travel the world
or just across town. Like you said, avoid the
bad weather. I would fly my love ones out too.
As I know you would.
From a financial viewpoint you could make a mint
flying important documents and small parcels right
from point A to point B.

I think that i would want to be telepathic and be able to read ones mind. This could always come in handy but i will admit that it would also have its downs as well as its ups!!! Either or that or i think i would want to fly that would incredible ... LMAO!!!

Yeah, it would be awesome to be able to read
others minds. It could be a burden as well.
I guess if you could control your ability
than perhaps you may be able to shut out
the bad stuff.
Flying is one that's great for anyone. It
doesn't matter whether you need to go get
a gallon of milk or want to visit France,
Spain, Japan, etc.
I was going to comment on your hair last night
but I was too tired. Check it out.

I would like to have the ability to find out the real god if there is one and make that god known to all people so that people see and believe that god. And there would be no more religious wars because there wouldnt be multiple gods.I think atleast then we all could live in peace.
@jumpinjack00 (3054)

Indeed if we all knew that God's existence
is true and not just based on faith then
perhaps people would see theirs and others
lives in a whole new light.
I believe there is only one God. It doesn't
matter the name or face but that this Being
is all things to all people but one in the
same. It's just not logical that there would
be so many gods. It wouldn't be true that every
time someone thought up a god it would exist.
That's just organized religion that puts its
twist on God so they can attract followers.
I Am, Allah, Buddha, Yahweh, etc., are all
the same.
You are so right about no more religious wars.
That is only the tip of the iceberg when it
comes to the changes that would take place
around the world.

I really love the idea of curing people's sadness
using your brain power. Just think what our planet
could be like without depression, anxiety, fear,
angst, sorrow, etc. All these feelings and more
that contribute to sadness also affect us physically.
If you were to wipe out sadness you would surely
also make people more physically sound.

I already have one! I can find anything, as long as it doesn't belong to me. Like, when my friends or family lose things, I have a really uncanny sense of where to find them. But if I lose something of my own...it's gone for a while.
I'm also capable of being invisible. I can hide in plain sight during hide-and-seek, and nobody will be able to find me. Or if I sit in a room with a bunch of people...they just won't see me.
But if I really wanted a superpower, I think I'd want to be able to travel any distance in a split second. That way, I wouldn't have to pay for airfare to go see my family and friends out of state. I could also do a lot of vacationing.

That's pretty funny and torturous at the
same time. Being able to find other's lost
stuff while your's stays missing. Invisible
amongst others, hmmmm? Yeah, I think I get
where you're coming from.
I, too, would love to get from point A to
point B in an instant. No gas, no travel
fares, no security checks, no overcrowded
travel vehicles, etc. Whooooosh, I'm there.
