I love her music and from what I read in magazines and see on TV she is gonna replace Mary J. Blige as the queen of r&b.

HA!! Rihanna is coo, and i like some of her songs. But there is no way that she is going to replace Mary J. Blige.

Hell no! She can't even sing half as good as Mary, for one. There isn't anything special about her really. There isn't anything special about a lot of these r&b artists that are coming out today. They're all sounding alike and singing about the same things. Rihanna is ok, but she's just that...OK. Nothing too special to where she can replace Mary.

there is NO way that Rhianna would ever replace any spot that Mary J has.. no way in heck..
Mary has been around a long time and there is no way someone who just stepped on the scene is gonna replace her.
mary has her spot and I bet you she will continue to hold it down.

Oh no no no no no. I like Rihanna and everything but I really don't think we should go overboard here. She has a lot of talent and she's cute but the Queen of r&b is pushing it.

Hmm, I can't agree on that one. Rhianna is straight, but I don't think she'll ever be as good as Mary. Of course most stars have their time in the spotlight, but as far as talent, no Rhianna isn't the new Mary. Mary J. Blige has more soul and has a more mature, developed voice. Rhianna has trend appeal or something, but Mary has more.
