Which is best Messenger, Yahoo Messenger of GoogleTalk?

hey people u have been using yahoo messenger for about eight years now, about a six months back i started using google talk messenger, i think both are almost the same but i prefer yahoo messenger as all my friends are on it and i can easily enter chatrooms if i get bored, so which one do you use and which do you think is better,,,although there are many other messengers available, lets keep ourselves restricted to these two....thankyou in advance for your valuable comments and posts...

i only use messenger. never tried the res of them yet. well your topic has opened new ideas to me. i will give them a try and give you the answer when i'm done.

I have used MSN messenger exclusively for the 5 or so years I have been on the internet so I can't comment on the others but MSN does a very good job. It even allows me to talk and video conference (with good quality) with my family in Morocco (I am in the US).

Yahoo messenger is the best. I have been using it for more than 8 years and it continously improve. Yahoo Messenger is the most popular.

I was also using yahoo messenger for almost 6 years now and so far I have no complains, the software works in any form of windows browser, besides it is user friendly and easy to install.

I still prefer Yahoo messanger .. thats true .. since all my friend contact still using yahoo messanger ...

i use both gtalk and yahoo, but if the person im talking to also has both, i prefer yahoo. why? because of the smileys! theyre just so cute.. im crazy about smileys. i also like it there are more options when it comes to fonts and colors.

I like to have several ways for people to contact me... AIM, Y!M, and MSN tend to be the major players, so I have accounts on all three.
On my PC, I use only Trillian to manage all the accounts.
Besides that, I occasionally use Hello on my PC, and Skype on both the PC and the Mac. But only when I need them.
i got Skype finally! it's really cool.

Msn messenger is the best,its much more simple and easyer to use than yahoo ect.
It looks alot better as well.
