My 5 year old son is very active, he doesn't listen and loves to run and jump all the time. Sometimes I can't settle him down. I really don't know how to discpline him. He has no fear and doesn't care about alot of punishments. What can I do so he will start listening to me??

Make sure he has as much physical things to do as possible that you approve of (bicycle, basketball, running, etc) to get some of that energy out. Set up a list of base rules (10 or fewer) that absolutely cannot be broken and discipline consistently and clearly when broken. When he gets the base rules, then you can branch out a bit, remembering that if there's a rule for everything, he'll stop paying attention and he'll never learn to develop good judgment. Good Luck!

He does alot of physical things. I even let him play outside when it is cold out. Only for about 15 minutes when it VERy cold out and not at all if below 15. He also loves to bike on the exercise bike with me watching him.
I have talked with his teacher many times and she says he is an angel in school. I like that he is good in school and not a brat like he is at home. lol
I do have some basic rules but lack consistence

Well, welcome to parent hood. you have a normal boy on your hands lol...
I have 3 boys and the 2 oldest do the same. most of the time I think I am going to go crazy! lol..
and the youngest (who is 2!) see's and hears everything and is like their little minnie me. lol
When my kids act up like that though, I start taking things away.. like their games and toys and if they still want to act up then no going outside and maybe even just give him time out, he can sit in his room or in whatever spot u choose..
and I swear you can learn alot from watching super nanny or one of the nanny shows..(if you can deal with watching someone elses bad child scream and fight lol)..
anyways, good luck!

My 5 year old is my third child. But he's the worst!! I have a 17 year old girl, 10 year old boy, 5 year old boy, and a 16 month old. the oldest 2 kids were a piece of cak compared to my 5 yo. the baby is picking up on the bad stuff to. It is so hard not to lose my temper with him. I LOVE to watch Supper nanny and Nanny 911 when I can. I watch it when my kids can watch it too. Boy do they have comments when they watch them shows.
