Personally i think yes all they are is a raised and very heavy station wagon, the thing that i have noticed most is that people who are driving the things are not paying complete attention to the road while driving and my car has almost become crushed by them multiple times, also what really scares me about these things is when i see a little woman with her seat pushed all the way up and her seat raised all the way up and can barely see over the stearing wheel, not to mention that they are very unsafe and have a hhigh tendency to rollover like when one of my ex-girlfriends got hit from behing and her SUV rolled over 6 six times before being stoped by hitting another car and that was a small Honda CRV imagine what would happen with a much larger SUV such as an Explorer or an Escalade so i personaly think these things are an abomination to the road and production should be stopped, now that ive told you what i think i want to hear what u think, tell me if you agree or disagree and why you think your opinion is right

I have to disagree with your opinion. I drive a Ford Expedition out of necessity rather than want. I have three stepchildren and three of my own children. A smaller vehicle would not safely hold us all. Also, we are the type of family that is always outdoors, either at the beach or on the ranch with our horses; and sometimes we need it to pull our horse trailer. A smaller SUV, pickup truck, station wagon, or van just would not fit into our lifestyle.

acctually i do agree with u on this point, i was not completely clear when i posted this, if u own a business or have some other reason that u need an suv out side of u need to take your only child to soccer practice that you should not have one, i think that you should have one as long as it is for business use or in your case pulling horses around in a trailer or something else that u must haul around multiple times during the year, but that is the only reason that i think u should have an SUV outside of something like that i think it is completely unnecessary, also u said u have a ford expedition, the explorer and the expedition have some of the worst rollover rating of all SUVs and it might not be the safest thing for your stepchildren or yourself, that might be something to think about if you ever have to buy a new SUV

I think the only use that should be okay for SUVs if off-road use. They are extremely dangerous vehicles. Let's put it this would you allow your child to play with a toy that would put them in danger? No you wouldn't. Then why are you placing that same said child in a vehicle that is known to be a danger to it's passenger?

I completely agree with this and this is one of the main reasons that i think that they should no longer be in mass production
