Does dark colored denim make you look skinner?

I've never really looked at it that way. I'll have to start paying attention. I always thought it was the cut and style that made the biggest difference.

I think that the color of the denim would not make a difference if it was the wrong cut or size for a person. Many people have trouble finding a flattering pair of jeans. It's all about the cut that looks best on the body. I do, however prefer dark blue denim over light blue.

It depends on the cut of the denim. Black cargo-type denim pants won't make you appear skinnier. But black denim pants that hug your legs will, if your legs isn't really that huge.. =P
