You have to take multivitamins daily, and one of this immune system boosters, or combinations of Acai, Mangosteen, Echinacea, IP-6 (Inositol Hexaphosphate), Mushroom supplements, Colostrum, I take this supplements and never had any health problem again, including that I never got another flu. This supplements will put your immune system on top.

Did you ask your doctore for recommendations about your disease? I'm sure your doctor knows what you need to do to cope up with your disease. You might also consider need to taking some supplements that boosts the immune system like zinc & vitamins C & E. Also, getting enough sleep also helps in taking care of your immune system so you might want to skip on those night outs with your friends :) for teh meantime.

Some good vitamins and herbs to boost your immune system are: ecchinacea, goldenseal, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Zinc, Selenium, Lysine, B Complex Vitamins- Take as directed on bottles; also a good multiple vitamin. Herpes Zoster (Shingles) is caused by the same virus that causes chicken pox. In a healthy adult it is uncommon, but can be brought on by stress or other acute illness. You should have bloodwork done to check for diabetes and an HIV test.

Try eating more yogurt, that's a great light food that really boosts your body with anti-oxidents. Also a recent study found that small portions of beef can help because beef contains Zinc which helps the immune system. Cranberry Juice is also very helpful. I hope this works!
