Do you sleep with lights On or Off?

Lights off for me. I just can't sleep under bright light. The light would seem to pierce through my eyes even though they are closed. But I can do with a little night lamp though. In some way I helped save some energy so it's quite good. Talking about monsters in movies, I just try not to think about them. I usually divert my attention to some other things when the thought of them cross my mind and it helps.

I can't sleep with the lights on - not at all. It really stops me from sleeping. Horror films never do though. The only one that did disturb my sleep (and this was a VERY long time ago) was the film Alien. Those monsters really gave me the creeps!

I cannot sleep with lights on , it has to be complete dark for me to sleep, even a little light disturbs my sleep.

lights off for me :D i think i wouldn't sleep well with them on and if i would like to..i think my mother wouldn't let me use it due to the high electricity cost...it's enaugh for my parents that the computer stays opened all day long :D

I cannot fall asleep that way, with the lights on. All my life i have been in the dark. LOL! "Wow' you really take those horror movies seriously don't you? Sleep with a teddy bear.

I sleep in total darkness, except for the light that comes from my clock radio. It's nice to be able to see what time it is (and know where the radio is, in the middle of the night). Aside from that, I don't like having any other lights on in the house when I'm trying to sleep.

I'm used to sleeping without lights. I find it more relaxing and it gives me a good sleep. But when I gave birth to my kids, we sleep with the lights on. I find it hard to sleep at first, but then I get used to it. We waited until they reach at leaast 9 months before we could turn off the light. Now, my youngest is already 1 year old. We sleep now with just a dim light on the room. It's actually much better having a dim light.

I normally sleep with the lights on but due to the rising cost of electricity, I am left with no other option but to turn all the lights off.

it doesn't really matter to me. If I am sleepy I can sleep next to roaring jet engine also as luckily I have a very sound sleep.... :-))

i usually sleep with the lights off. i cannot sleep if they're still on because they keep me awake. however, if i see a horror film i keep my door open and leave the light in the hallway on to let some light in... i love but hate horror films at the same time because its fun to watch but i dont like it wen i keep thinking about it n i get scared ! =P

i love to sleep in lights off as i cant sleep in light i have some problem that i cant sleep in lights as i see that mostly the girls are alwys sleep at night in light on because they have fear to darkness.. as this is not a bad topic as the person who have problem to sleep in dark then i can manage to sleep with him as i am unmarried and i am gonna to be married then a new person will attach with me as if she has a problem in darkness then i have to change my way or she can change... i know that if you sleep in light then it create a bad affect on your eyes ...... as my teacher taught me to sleep in darkness as you can see that the man living in villages they have no spectales because they alwayes sleep in dark......

I cant sleep when the lights are on. Im used with sleeping in off lights anyway. Eversince i was a kid my mom turned off the lights, the rest of the family are use with it too.

i always sleep with lite off.but in day time it is not possible.so i always awaking in days.

i sleep with lights off, but usually with the tv on, when it is time to wake up, sometimes i notice i haven't turned off the tv, so i program it to turn off iself at a time, usually and hour that i will be surely sleep, but i don't think that is what you asked for, the answer is in the first line

I always sleep with lights off .........no need of light during sleep .....save energy its important to us

i cannot sleep with a glaring light on. although i have a tiny red bulb that is on overnight when i sleep.
