Mrs Piazza's Italian lemon chicken:)

One of my patient's recipes is SO good, I have to share! She's so sweet,that I went over to help her put Christams stuff away. She asked me if I wanted to help her make lemon chicken.... Slice up 3 or 4 of those HUGE vidalia onions and arrange them evenly in a 2-3 inch deep pan/dish preferably one that's 10x10 or so.... in a LARGE mixing bowl pour in about 25 onces of bottled lemon juice{the ready made stuff}Add about a tbsp EACH; oregano,Italian season,garlic granules..and a dash of fresh ground pepper... Soak chicken pieces in this for a few; arrange on top of onion'bed'. Pour remainin liquid over it all and bake at 350* for an hour{turn chicken pieces over after half an hour}After you pull it out of the oven, arrange the onion/chicken in you fave serving bowl;pour most of the liquid over it and save some aside for dipping bread in{it's so darn good,you'll eat 'til you're stuffed!} Lela
