Road Trips

I was bored today so my husband and I went on a very random road trip. The show Gilmore Girls takes place in a town called Stars Hollow, Conneticut. This isn't a really town...but it is losely based off the town Washington Depot, CT. So, today we drove an hour and a half to Washington Depot. Of course, it took longer because we found so many cool things to stop at along the way. Everything was frozen over so we kept taking photos. We even got on a road with an old one lane covered bridge. So neat! We got to the town and it was NOTHING like Stars Hollow on the Gilmore Girls really. Still, it was such a fun trip. Tell me about your random road trips!

My family really only ever went on trips to visit my father's side of the family in Oklahoma. Your wonderful post reminded me that I did just see a wonderful play called "Leaving Iowa" that was all about family road trips and family love, though. It was a very touching story, and made me wish that my family had gone on more vacations and trips when I was younger. Your random trip sounds like it was so much fun! I would love to just take off to a random place like that! ^_^

wow, sweet ah! you have a great time with your husband in exploring the ice and everything.i like to spend sometime with my husband too on some place like that but we dont have enough time maybe in summer.
