Which processor has best performance???

intel core duo is the bet one much better than intel dual core.because of its high speed and also the speed is due to the multiple processors that is duo you have great advantage when you use many programs one at a time and also while playing games.it allocates the ram automatically when sufficient memory is not there for the asking especially in some games and heavy software mainly for programming and also all graphic related programs.like maya,flash it all require high speed processor and mostly the ram must be more than 1 gb.

In my opinion P4 is the best processor in world. And if you think to buying a new processor i will recommend Duo 2 Extreme Edition processor which has 1000 mhz FSB .

am usin p4 2.6Ghz , i think dualcore is really excellent

hey dude i am using AMD sampron since 4 year i too got good performance till now i think its good bcoz i have that one so know how its work its speed is 1.66 ghz

there is no perfect or excellent processor, bec. these things have their own lifespan, depending on how you use it. i have 2 computers, 1 uses the intel processor and the other uses the amd processor. both are still in very good running condition, up to now, for 8 years of usage.

That depends on what performance the user needs. As a gamer of PC, i'd say Intel Pentium Core Duo technoloy. As for you Piyushgotin, maybe you use your desktop computer for internet web-browsing and office work. I said again, it really depends on the user.
