what was the main attraction of Rang de Basanti

I think it was the new way the story had been presented. Its actually the whole concept that makes the movie hit or a flop. Te movie had taken up a very new issue which also is very true reagrding the migs and then it presented in a way to which youth could relate to. WE all saw a bit of us in those characters. I liked the dailouge where one character after reading Bhagat singh's letter to his mother says who speaks like this anyway? Yes today we do not use poetic language to talk to our elders and loved ones but we do have respect and love for them. We are proud of India but we do not write songs in its glory. It showed what the attitude of the young today is-that is just chill out and be cool. But they are no way unpatriotic. Kind of Phir bhi dil hai hindustani. Thats what I think was the success story of Rang De basanti.
