This really burns me up. FOr those of you that dont know what Curbing is, it is when bullies make a person open their mouth on a street curb and then someone stomps on their head! The first time I heard of this, It made me sick when I watched it on tv. The physical impact includes a broken jaw, loss of teeth, concussions and even paralisys. Parents, Please talk to your kids about this important issue. I thiught it was just something that was isolated just to our neck of the woods but now I know that is happening all over. I think it is one of the most cowardly and chicken $hit the ways the bullies on the playground are enforcing their fear on weaker children. I have talked to my sixth grader and she knew exactly what it was. This crap is going on in elementary and middle schools. We need to report threats of curbing not only to the school and the proper authorities. Let's take an active role in making sure this sickening action stops NOW.

This is the first time I hear it, and I think it's very awful. Bullies shouldn't do something like that. I also agree with you that things like that should be reported to the proper authorities, just to make sure that it won't happened again. I feel lucky, because I've never seen anything like that happened in my country (well, maybe there're, but the bullies didn't show it at road)

I think if it ever happened to one of my children, Someone would have to call the police just to keep me from killing someone. I hope this does not become the new hazing fad.
Thanks for the post,

Wow, that's just as bad as these kids that get in groups and beat on one kid while video taping and posting it on MySpace. I think there should be laws passed to scare these bullies into submission.

I only heard about it within the past two to three months. It is real cruel and causes a lot of physical and mental damage.
Thnx 4 the post,
