Why do people think all work at home opportunities are a scam?

I work at home and I am happy with the company I a working for but I am finding it hard to get the respect from my friends about working at home. When people ask me what I do I tell them I work at home and its like an instant negative reaction I even had someone ask me when am I going to look for a real job. Well I have a real business and before I even started I did research about the company and I spoke to people who were already in the business. I am able to support my family this way, I no longer have to do the dreaded rush our drive and I do this on my own schedule. I just hate the fact that I don't feel respected because I work at home. Any suggestions would be helpful.

I think that is great that you have a job you like.It sounds like your fiends just don't understand that just because you are at home doesn't mean that you don't work.It is like everyone just hears the word home and don't hear the word work.If I were you I would try to explain that you are not home eating bon bons on the couch.I am so envious of you. I am currently looking for work at home. I wish you good luck.
