I love my country, the United States of America. However, I am very displeased with President Bush. He is an idiot, and has put us into deep debt, and this war is so sad already. But, it is a beautiful free country.

patriotic means not just joining the army and fighting.in my terms patriotism means to uplift the countries culture,to work on the national issues,to solve of contries problems....

I am an Indian and i love my country. I dont think love and patriotism can be expressed in words or probably by writing about it in these discussions, instead the only way it can be expressed is by practising it. You need to do something, perform some act to actually be patriotic, just mere talking about it doesn't help. I might sound a little rude, but please people try and understand what im trying to say. I personally too have not yet done any very big deed in my life that i might call myself a die-hard patriot. But if you want it on paper, im surely patriotic.

it all depends on individual, whether he loves in true spirit or just faking the patriotism. love and affections start from helping out the poor and needy people and helping out the country to build it economic strength.
