I use to listen to Gospel music growing up and my favorite song is Amazing Grace, I do have some other favorites as well. Are there any good Gospel groups out there now, What is your favorite religious song? What group or singer sings this song?

My favorite Chrisitan groups is Avalon they are considered a contemporary christian group. My all time favorite gospel song is "Heaven" from the Winans.

There are a lot of great Christian/Gospel songs. I'm not a large fan of hymms - unless they have a more upbeat sound. Except that I love "It Is Well With My Soul", and "Victory in Jesus". I also love the song, I think it's called, "The Air I Breathe". I love great worship songs that make me feel God's presense, healing, love, and forgiveness.

Probably it is whatever we are working on in choir at the moment. I am especially touched by "Where the Nails Were", out of our current practice list. I love the upbeat song, God is Good, All the Time, a selection from the musical, "My Utmost for His Highest", along with some of the personal stories that go with it. With Easter coming up, I like "Via Dolorosa". I am not too tuned in to contemporary music, but learn whatever we are learning in service. Have a wonderful day.

The Philippines is a very religious country and I would have to say we have created countless songs for the Lord. One particular song that always melts my heart and bring a tear in my eye is Kristo. It's about why people only remember Jesus when in times of trouble.

Amaizing Grace has always been a favorite of mine too. I like a few of the older songs, like It Is Well With My Soul, and How Great Thou Art. I am a Church soloist and I enjoy Sandi Patty's verssions of these songs. How Great Thou Art Sandi Patty style is just awesome. If you can sing opera that is. I have a fairly good vocal range and can hit those really high soprano notes very well and easy too, so I like to sing the higher range songs and Sandi Patty has an awesome voice and range that I can follow, so most all my accompniments, are Sandi Patty. I also like Crystal Lewis, Rebecca St James, Avalon, and Point of Grace, to name a few.

I like the lyrics and the music of "Be With Me Lord."
We worship without using musical instruments and it's very beautiful. I listen to Acapella. There are now other groups who sing without using musical instruments and I listen to their songs, I'm not so particular about what their group is.

Amazing Grace is my favorite hymn/tune. I especially like it when it is played on the bagpipes.

I've seen several on here who mentioned "It Is Well". I love that one, too. What an awesome story behind the song. Gives me goosebumps just thinking about it right now.
Have you heard the recent Todd Agnew version? He did a great job with it.
