defintely a romantic movie. whether its a comedy or drama can be up to the person i go with... but its always nice to see a romantic movie with the one u love. i'd choose THE NOTEBOOK cos its a beautiful movie and the couple live a beautiful life together and in the end die together but they dont really die as they are reincarnated as birds as the symbolism in the movie suggests... that's what i would choose =)

why, what's wrong with a documentary, i love documentaries, it shows that a person is curious and eager to learn new things about their world. Well to tell you the truth i was actually going through all my old discussions and marking best responses, and i had started this one a long time back when i first joined, that time i didn't really know what discussions to start, now i only start discussions about topics i'm really interested in. So, no, i'm not really in this situation, since you asked. While marking best response i think i also commented on this discussion again which made it come to the top once more. I guess it's a good way to revive all your old discussions.

well lets see a horror movie would be great because once you get scared you could jump in your parteners arms to "protect you", i think he would be fascinated to see that you like a action movie, drama hmm i dont think guys are to much in drama nor in romantic drama i mean they think its boring,a comedy would be real great if you are both shy and dont know what to say at least it wont be boring and youre both going to laugh and so is the romantic comedy thriller i think youll scare him off if you watch a thriller:)) so its comedy romantic comedy action and horror:)

i think most guys think girls might not like action movies because most girls don't so that choice would be nice, you'd really throw him off, and what movies you might like can really tell what kind of person you are.

Romatic Comedy or drama. It would show the lady that I'm the kind of guy who would (willingly) watch chick flicks with them. Which would almost guarantee a second date. Plus, it can tell me more about the girl on how she reacts o the movie scenes. That way, I can do my research on the girl and see if she's for real.

hmmmmm..... that's smart thinking, you've got this all figured out, but ever wonder what would happen if the girl's more into action or something? i know i am, i mean i like chick flicks, what girl wouldn't but i prefer watching action, or horror movies instead.

Would depend what is out, if it is in the movies, and if it is for video at home, Arsenic and Old Lace, it is a comedy, it is an old flick so you can enjoy it, with out putting to much stress on the romance. But to be honest on my first date I don't necessarily want a movie, go somewher have dinner, talk, get to know the person, and hopefully visit longer talking and getting to know the person. However I have gone to movies for a first date and what I did was try to find out their interests and see if we had any thing that overlapped so we could both enjoy the movie rather than have it be a one sided thing. If it is a comedy all the better, since we can laugh together over what happened during the movie, as we head home, and the laughter helps create a more relaxed energy or feel to the evening, and since first dates are so tense in some instances for some people I figure the laughter is the best way to help with that.

arsenic and old lace....... sure doesn't sound like a comedy, but on your recommendation i'll be sure to keep a look out for that.
