Do you agree/disagree with sending more troops to Iraq?

I think that we have accomplished most of what we could with the reception and resistance we've had to face since going in to Iraq. I disagree with sending MORE troops. I think it is time to pull out and let that country learn how to run itself. Maybe if the sucide bombers keep on blowing themselves and others up, pretty soon there will be nobody left and the country can finally find peace. We are not changing what needs to be changed and we need to get out.

Yes i agree but the only thing is that will not happen as long as George Bush is in charge, he continues to do whatever he wants whenever he wants, including crashing his own planes into the world trade centers which is used as an excuse every time the US go to war.

I do not think the attack on America was an EXCUSE to go to war -- it was the reason why we went to war. I'm not sure why you think this country attacked itself? But your thinking is faulty.

Well in my oppinon, I trust president bush completly. He knows a lot more than what is repeated on the news, and stated in the paper. Our govenment knows a lot more than they tell us, and in a way I think that is not good, however they still know a lot that we don't so if they think we need to send more troops over then I agree. Don't get me wrong I want peace just as much as the next person, but other countries want to want it to. It goes both ways, and honestly peace is just unhumanistic.

Surely president Bush knows more about the war of irak than you or other u.s citizen, but that does not means he can not make mistakes, or that he cares about his citizens.I am not from US, but I think this war will cost you much more than you think. I think Bush is such an imperialistic idiot.

I do not agree with sending more troops...I don't think it will accomplish anything except getting more of our troops killed...We have accomplished everything we possibly can there, and whoever thinks that WE can establish peace in that country is sadly mistaken..there will never be peace in that country, and even if it ever comes about, it will not be by our doing...in the meantime, bring our troops home to be where they can do more good..

yes, I do not know when in the last 2000 years there has been peace in that area??? I thought we did the right thing to go to war, and I supported our troops. I still support the troops, but not the reasoning for staying.

I tottally disagree of the idea to send more troops to Iraq,i think that with more troops sent more kills will happend.I think that is time for the USA troops to leave Iraq and let them resolve their own problems.Everyday we see more and more people dying and i believe it´s because they don´t want the american forces or forces from other countries in Iraq. They should leave.

Thanks for your comments -- It is time to leave, not time to send more troops.

I pretty much agree. They don't want us there, apparently, so why don't they just come home? If they can't get it together enough to run their own country, we might as well give up. We've been over there long enough that whatever we wanted to get done should have been done a long time ago. We keep losing more and more people and we don't seem to be getting anywhere over there. Just let them come home.

I Disagree. Will it make any changes to send more troops? It isn't their war. Is already a big mistake to send the first troops to Iraq to find the Chemical weapon which never been found. I guess Bush only want to suck up the oil in Iraq until it's dry then he just told the troops to come home

I guess I'm in the minority because I believe we need to send more troops. At the end of the Summer that will include my nephew. He's a Marine and yes it scares me. But he's doing his duty. This is what these men and women signed up for. I am not a republican nor do I support Bush. But I do support our troops. I, for one, am very proud of them. It saddens me when a young life is snuffed out but, again, this is what they signed up for. No one is saying support Bush but do support our troops.

I disagree with sending more troops in. I think we need to bring our men and women home. I have a friend whose coming home for the summer but then he has to go back out and he's only 25. Our young men and women are dying for what I think is a useless cause. Fighting them isn't going to make them accept a new government.

I think we should send more troops. It doesn't seem all that likely that the fighting in Iraq is going to stop anytime soon anyways.

Disagree. I just think we should be doing everything possible to pull out and I can't shake the feeling that we are building up for something in Iran. We're into another Vietnam situation and we're going to wind up leaving and losing anyway but I'm afraid it could get much, much worse.

I think we need to quit sending them there, and take we have there out. I think we need to re-group and go back in. I mean how long has this been going on.. and we're still in the middle of it? Something needs to change!

Our biggest problem is that we started to pull people out too soon. What most people do not see are the people who are grateful. I met an Iraqi woman who showered me with gratitude, knowing I was a military wife, because she was finally going to be able to see her daughter again, who had not been able to leave Iraq under Saddam. We have already changed so much over there. Unfortunately, so many people here really have no idea what is going on. Remember, there is no such thing as good news in the news. That's why you don't know about the positive impact we have had.

I have to agree I too am a military wife and what we see and hear is diffrent from what the civilian world does. All they see is the bad. There are people over there that do want us. Even though you do not see it we have done some good. Pulling our people out now will solve nothing and probably in the long run turn out to be disastours.

I disagree with sending more troops to Iraq because I think that the attack on Iraq is an unfair attack. Saddam didn't have mass destruction weapons and he had nothing to do with Saddam Hussein and the attack to the Twin Towers, infact Saddam was a secular person, so, why to attack him? For economical reasons first of all, a reason I find disgusting. So no more troops to Iraq.

I always disagree...First of all, the US force entered into the Iraq for check the dangered weapons...Then they were arrested the "Sadam" and killed. But they didn't found out the dangered weapons. It implies that they are willing to touch/distrub the freedom of the human beings/people living in the Iraq...

i think its time that america stop invading iraq's political rights by interrupting in its politics. mow that saddam hussain is no more there is absolutely no need for america to run iraq.america should take out its army bases from iraq and let united nations do the rehabilation works...the people of iraq are innocent and they donot deserve to share the fates of their ruler.

I agree with you, dear ShadyGrove. Bush war policy is a wrong policy, Iraq is a complex accumulation of problems that the Western civilization can't solve. I hope that the next U.S. president will adopt different measures.

I disagreewith sending troops to Iraq. Its only because the fact that the America is controlled by weapon manufacturers. the policy of america is is of these companys. this is done for selling more and more weapons and to make profit. this is very cruel.
