What's your opinion of computers?

I think computers are probably the thing that will have the most impact on our lives in two centuries. Not just for their number crunching abilities, but I think that more so we are able to communicate with people all over the world one on one. We don't have our governments speaking for us. We can be ourselves (for better or for worse) and be great ambassadors all on our own. We can share photos of our lives that make us more human to each other too. Yes, you are right. Computers can cause problems in relationships. When we do anything too much and forget about family and friends though, that is a univeral problem, don't you think? yes you are right computer is very useful and everybody can have it and use for many things, we can have business on it,communicate with friends and many more. sometimes computer can help to found our partner in life and even found our new self.

Computers are the necessary evil which one cannot live without it. It has broken all the barriers and borders of the world and made this world one through a medium known as Internet. It has made life easy for many of us but still it is making us lazy in every way it can, this is the sad part of the happy ending with computers.

Computer is so important to us now, specially to businessmen,specially the students. They don't have to go to the library to find the book and browse it all day just to find the answers of their assignments.If they use computer, it is easy to surf in internet and can find all the materials they needed. No hustle, no waste of time. Computer is really important to everybody's lives now a days.

Computers like everything have their good and their bad. Before the railroad and definately before cars, we were very disconnected and the automobile allowed people to come together as did the telegraph and then the telephone. Computers are the next evolution to that. As you say, it is a tool and how it is used is the more important question than whether it is 'right' or 'wrong'... 'good' or 'bad'. It just is... what we do with them and what our actions are dictate the 'good' and 'bad' of computers. If used properly it allows the human brain to learn faster, more, and more efficiently than ever before. I have always said the best way to know about China is to go there. With the internet, you can virtually visit China... as close to being there without actually being there.

Computers are 1 of the wonderful creations by Human beings, i.e. by us. It helps us in many ways. U can do anything on it. It can b used for entertainment, business, profession. The power internet has made them ecne more better. Internet to me is just like a world in front of u. U can search anything on Internet, u can have frends from any part of the world, u can buy/sell anything etc. As the days r passing, computers r becoming more powerful n faster.

i think it is the greatest invention and the most useful one by man and i agree with u that it has so many advantages that its disadvantages get overlooked. it is being used in every sphere of life and now we can't imagine our lives without computers.

We May Depend On Computers too Much more than Necessary.I Can,t Think or Remember a Day i Didn,t Log on To My Computer. But Even Computers Are Not Out Masters as Humans Have Made The System Of a Computer and it Does not Have The Power To Thinks on its Own.But One Day They Might Have it as We Improve it.One Day They Might Fully Replace Humans at Working Factories.But There are Quite Low Chances of Happening Something Like That.

Cpmputers are indeed very useful and good for the human beings. They have inded made life easier in varous significant ways. Secondaly teh internet has made the world into a glbal net and a global village where people can communicate and nothing is impossible over miles.

Computers have become an integral part of the everyday life of billions of people worldwide. For the most part, it's been a positive thing. Communication, research, business opportunities, and distance learning programs are examples of positive things that are possible because of computers. However, as others have pointed out, there are some negative things associated with computers. I think as a whole we have all become too dependant on computers. Alot of kids wouldn't know how to send a letter if they had to because all they do is e-mail. Many students can't do simple math because they have calculators to do it for them. And the Y2K scare is a perfect example of what could possibly go wrong with computers. Granted the whole thing was a bit far fetched but imagine if computers worldwide started crashing? Bank records, personal files, entire businesses would be lost. I don't forsee this happening anytime soon but the possibility is there. But overall, computers have been great for people. They make many tasks simpler and easier to execute, and make communication much easier.

For me computers are devices that can perform heavy loads of tasks which human can't. It makes our life easier than ever however, computers have downsides we call them bugs as compared to humans, they also have defects somehow. There's a saying says nobody's perfect just like humans not a single computr in this world is perfect as well as humans.

Since computer come into people's life, the life became more and more convient, and a lot of things can do by computer replace of people. Anything have good and bad affection, computer make people feel good, but get some bad result, people became more and more depending on computer. Especially internet became popular, computer make people more lonely, and stay with computer only all day. it is terrible, the people will lose the ability to communicate with other people.

this is the good thing of the world no one can live without it.

I agree that it is one of the most useful invention. They made our life much easier. I can't imagine our life without computers.

Love em, hate em [pats computer gently] I could not live without it, and cannot imagine what life was life before the chip, the silicon chip arrived. I have met some great friends, I have lost some good friends. I have cried, and I have broken my heart. Its like virtual pub, all your friends are there one week, the next week they have gone. Some people however can be bullies and turn really nasty and can upset you and you wish you could rip the internet from your computer.

indeed. Computer is a very useful tools. there are so many things we can do with it. some peoples are even addicted. But anyhow, it's just a tools. we have to handle it wisely.
