Have you ever been scammed online?

I've been using eBay for a few years, and have nearly always had good experiences on there. I have had a couple of instances of items not arriving, but they were never expensive (I think one cost £3, and the other £1), so it was never a big issue. Both eBay and Paypal have stringent guidelines against fraudsters, so it's quite safe.

I didn't get an Item I paid for on ebay, but I eventually got my money back through paypal. I got some dvd's off ebay, but I didn't win the auction, the seller said just send me this amount, in the auction. I got the dvd's but not all of them were working properly (burnt), so the seller said he would replace. I sent back and never heard from him again. I couldn't report it, because I didn't actually win an item on ebay!!! I should have known better!
