Why Amitabh Bachchan did not marry with Rekha?

Well, Jaya is the one who can handle the family and acting profession with decency...!What else a man wants in his wife?

Amitabh is an eductaed person. He need a life partner who was as learned and educated and intellectual as himself. Therefore I think thedecision of marrying Jaya was better, Also what appears oin teh silver screen is not the truth. The chemistry between Rekha and Amitabh was just onscreen and could not be retained in real life.

so that he could have a son like abhishek,lol. No kidding but I think their affairew was and still today was ust a media hype and had no substance. they both had good onscreen chemistry that worked very well for film's success and adding a bit of mystery to relationship of co-workers was enough to sell the film well.

bcoz he decided that he will marry the 1 who acts well in the movie silsilay.... he found jaya much better.....

Amitabh Bachchan was already married to Jaya Bhaduri, a successful heroine who had a lot of contribution and sacrifice in the making of Amitabh Bachchan as a successful star of Bollywood. So, I think, Amitabh Bachchan was in a fix about the continuation of his extramarital affairs with Rekha and after his accident in a shooting in the film 'Coolie', he discovered her wife as an ideal woman as a wife, as a mother and as a daughter-in-law and made out her role in his life. So, he ultimately parted with Rekha.

becoz amitabh want a life paterner who is senesible, resposible and a person who take care of home, relationship and children. and he find jaya much fitted in this role.

i think on screen romance and love is totally different matter. i appreciate amitji for his decision not to tie the knot with rekha. definately it would be family disaster if it is happened. the respect amitji has received from masses in indis as well as overseas it would not be possible. everybody knows the bachchan family's morale. can mr. amit get her mother and father's blessings. what impact would have been on Abhisekh and Sweta and other family members. can society or masses accept him as him legend. thanks.

bcoz jaya was pregnaent at that time. and amitabh have already sexed with rekha. he doesnt need rekha any more....

As far as I am aware Amitabh was already married to Jaya when his so called "affair" with Rekha took place. I am not convinced they ever even had an affair anyway. As someone else commented above, the match with Jaya was much more suited and they make a good couple. The screen chemistry they had in K3G was amazing. This can't be faked by two people who don't are as good together in real life as these two obviously are.
