private media or govt. media which one is better

in this tpoic we have to talk about the private channels{zee,sony,star...},which we are seen in our homes and the govt. channels like {doordarshan} which is better for us or providing better service ....etc

i feel that d private channels are more entertaining then d government channels bcoz in private channels 2 much masala is there n people feel intereseted in those channels but govt channels r boring

thanx for ur response ..but my friend let me tell u something ..u saying these things on the basis of ur interest..butif u think practically u eill se that still govt. channels are widely seen all over in our country ..much much more than private channels ..n they are not costly..so that proofs that popularity of govt. channels is more than tha private channels ..n one more thing that is private channels only wants TRP thats it..but for govt. channels they shows all knid of programmes ..like educational, busines, ect etc ..for all sort of viewers ..thats y they are less masala ones ..n according to the figures of telecommunication today's surveys ..still priavte channels covers only 19% of market n rest is captured by govt. channesl

ya my frnd chika that is correct that government channels have more viewers...but this is only because that india is not a developed country so its really very tough to have cable in villages and in many other places so its only a single choice for those persons to see government channels otherwise they will also watch private channels.........can u tell me ne people who is watching private channel has to pay for those channels also but even he is watching private channels this is because they are very entertaining.....dont go here n there u only take ur example i definetly say in 24 hours hardly 1 hour or even less then that u watch doordarshan or other govt channel
