Should it be allowed? When is a life really a life? Can we really stop important life saving science just because of religion?

i think that it ok to devolop no living matter, but i draw the line at creating people as we have no idea how they will react being created by man. also i think that playing with lives that way is asking for trouble. how would they mesh with society?

Both science and religion should search for the truth both in different fields. When religion interfered in science, scientific progress suffered such as in the case of Galileo. When science ignores religion and thinks that what everything that can be done by science is moral, than in my opinion it is wrong. The Catholic Church is against embryonic stem-cell research because it involves the destruction of human embryos.
