The Rams finished the 2006 season on a positive note winning their last games. What areas should coach Linehan would focus on this off season? For me the need to improve special team and to stop the run by the front seven.

First thing to do is make some plan on improving the defensive line (you are right they need to stop the run). Scout the draft class efficiently to upgrade the special teams... and make Stephen Jackson a TANK !!!

Nice analysis. I would agree with you on this. there are plans to trade for Kris Jenkins and in my opinion this would be a good move rather than drafting a DT prospect

the RAMS did good on the draft by getting some solid DTs, a good RB. Trading for Dante Hall was also a good move.

The Rams did a good job this off season. Adding much needed help and hopefully stability with a returner(Dante Hall) and younger punter Donnie Jones. It'll be interesting to see how Carriker does being a full time NT.Finally getting rid of Jimmy Kennedy was a great move. He just doesn't have the heart for football. The offensive signings of Drew Bennett to replace Curtis(signed w/ Eagles) should give us a big red zone threat that we've been missing. To top it off we also got Randy McMichael to help the younger TE(Byrd, Klop) and add some toughness and big help in the red zone.
