Ok I am not one of the top money makers by far. I have made around $500 since August of last year. Some people make that or more in a month. But I have some tips for making money there. Page Views are the key. The more people who read your stuff the more you make. I was getting $4 to $7 an article 2 months ago. Now I am making around $6 to $10 each one. The reason is page views, I am getting more hits so I make more money. The ways to get page views Tell your friends and family to read your stuff. They can sign up to get email updates when you are published. Have a website, even free ones like mine help. You can easily have your newest content displayed on your site. Write a blog. If people like the blog, they will go to your article links on there. Write keyword rich articles but don't over do it. Go to the AC page and search keyword articles, they have good ones that explain keywords better than I can. Write articles that people want to read. There are sites that list what people do the most internet searches for, go there for topics. Make the title of an article, something somebody would search for. Example. If you want to write about Bars in New York. Make the title "What are the best bars in New York?" I hope these tips help and if anyone is interested in my articles, just search for Randy Inman at AC.

Sorry I have an old junk heap computer that is very slow. I don't do IM's very often. You can email me at Randync5@aol.com with any questions. Or post em here or message me here or at AC.

Great ideas on AC. I'm still somewhat new to AC, you can read my articles under Kris McLeod. (I'm hoping for page views!) I don't make a lot there, mostly because I don't invest a lot of time. I do enjoy it for venting. Think of it as blogging with pay. I limit myself to 15 minutes per article. If I make a minimum of $5 per article that's $20 per hour sitting at home in my fuzzy slippers and robe! Can't beat that!

I'm completely in love with AC. I write 5 days a week and on the two days I have off I have to admit that I miss writing for them. I turned AC into my full-time job in October and haven't looked back.

I can't quite make it a full time job, but I do work a part time job inestead of full time, thanks to AC. Of course I work 12-14 hours a day, 3 days a week so it feels pretty full time lol.

i didn't understand one thing, you are saying to get more money you have get more page view. But you are getting offer before your content get published in AC. the way what you told everything is correct, but applicable only after my content get published. How come I can get better offer? Do they only see the quality of the content you are submitting or do they see the past performance and page view the CP? Please help me

The more page views you get on already published articles, the more they pay you on later work.

I have been making between $4-$14 per piece since I began, my clout level finally went up to 3, but I'm not getting any better offers now than I was to start with.

As a new content producer for AC I really appreciate this post. Your tips make great sense. I'm feeling really good about AC so far ... I've submitted 5 articles this week and have so far received a $7 for the first one and a $13 offer for the second. I figure if I write about things that I enjoy, this is good extra money!

You mention you can have your newest content displayed on your site, is this your own website you're referring to or is it AC's? Are your free to link to your AC articles from your blog? Just want to be sure I'm following you since this is all new to me. If this is the case, sounds pretty cool. I suppose you could write a little blurb about what you're article is about and post that to your blog along with your link to AC. Not a bad idea.

You can put what is called an RSS feed on your site, that puts the article links on your site for you. It will look like the ones on my site, http://www.freewebs.com/randync or you do like you said, just mention what it is about and link to it. And yes I meant your own personal site.

Sounds like you have made some good money. I am trying to write more on Associated Content myself. My name is Christine Zibas and you can find me over there (sorry MyLot won't let me provide a link yet...too few postings). I think the key is truly getting people to look at your stuff. I have found some folks over here on MyLot and gone and looked at their stuff and gave them 5 stars, but I haven't seen any reciprocation. Everyone wants their stuff read, but they all seem too busy to read mine. Any suggestions, folks?

Thanks for this information! I didn't realize that AC paid based on page views, which is what Helium.com does. I submitted a whole bunch of articles to AC all at once, and they accepted them all, paying from $3 to $12. It will be interesting to see if this increases after I try some of the things you've suggested here. I's still pretty new at this, so I'll have to read up on the keywords. I'll search for your articles on AC, Randy!

I am looking for other websites where I can get income too. I will try this and I hope I could find a place for the things I want to write about. I am a translator of the Word of God from Greek to English. I'm not actually a good writer :) May God bless you.

Thanks for the tips. I have only been a member for about a week and haven't gotten any payment offers yet but everyone keeps telling me that it takes awhile so I am going to keep trying. This sounds so exciting as I already like to write and think I can do good with this. I can't wait until my stuff gets published. :)

Thank you for these tips. I would like to increase my page views at AC. Wow, I can't imagine making $500 a month from AC-- I suppose if you get a ton of page views and have high paying offers it's possible, but unfortunately I can't devote very much time to it.

Most people that make $500 or more a month use AC as their job. If you have a regular job besides, I think it would be a lot harder to reach.

Those are all really good tips. I just started writing with AC and have only published two articles. I waited until the first one had sold to even submit another one. But now that I know what they are paying, I have started submitting more. I do freelance work for another site, too. Unfortunately, they are not taking on any more writers now or I would post the link. The pay is much higher with them, but I have to write about a specific topic they give me and they usually only offer 2-3 a month. I think AC is going to be a good site to use to make a little more money. I'm hoping to be making an extra $200 or so a month by June so I can quit my "real" job (it's really only 2 days a month. LOL). A couple articles for AC a day should do it. Thanks for the advice!
