I have $10 to my name and an empty fridge. And I mean EMPTY no milk, no eggs, no butter NOTHING. So theres pretty much canned vegetables at this moment and one can of pinneapple. IM EVEN OUT OF PANCAKE MIX!!! And we have NOTHING TO DRINK but water now. We might not get anymore money until Tuesday or Wednesday. But we could verywell get it tommorow. SO What do I do with the $10?!? 1. Little Ceasars - Get a $5 pizza and pop and mmm i like pop 2. Groceries - Get Milk, butter, pop and bread. 3. Fast food & get $1 items... BUT THIS IS ALL THE MONEY I HAVE AND THIS IS ALL I GOT TO EAT TODAY!!! WHICH WOULD YOU DO?? P.S. Theres two of us... my boyfriend and I... so fast food wouldn't really fill us up.

I go thru that a lot. But I would do it differantly. I mean if I had work I would eat at work, employee food. Take some home. But if Im home with nothing, Id just eat the veggies or fruit and call it a day. I can go for days without eating. I know its bad but money gets tight and I have gone accustom to doing this. Go get something mama. Dont go hungry!

Don't you or your boyfriend have a job.? You could go to your local Dss office and get onto food stamps that would help you out alot.

If you have a Krogers/Bakers/Dillons near you, they are having some really great 10/10 items this week. Pasta sauce, fresh veggies, 1/2 gal milk, etc. It could help out for a few days. I know I always use it to stock up for a while.

Okay, aside from any help that you might get locally from a food pantry, I would buy bread, peanut butter, jelly, cheese, eggs and the store brand of mac and cheese. Don't waste your money on a pizza, soda, or fast food. The food that you buy can make peanut butter and jelly sanwiches, grilled cheese sandwiches, egg sandwiches. They also sell Ramen noodles which are cheap and can be used to fill your belly. Good luck.

Have you heard of Ramen Noodles? $0.35 a pack? It'll get you through. Then you need to take a GOOD look at your spending habits, and budget better for the future. If you don't have money for groceries, maybe you should cancel your internet connection for a month so you have more grocery money. it's not easy, but when you are living paycheck-to-paycheck, you really need to prioritize what you spend, and cut the things you really don't NEED. This comes from experience.

When my boyfriend and I used to be broke all the time we would buy the cheap food at the grocery store: frozen burritos, the cheap frozen pizzas, the $1 pot pies, store brand noodles, the $1 cans of spaghetti sauce. I would buy groceries if I were you it will last longer than pizza or fast food.

Id go to a dollar store that sells food and buy things like pasta, that should last you for maybe a couple of days. Id alos buy milk or powder milk. Try to find a food closet in your area. They should be able to help you with food till next paycheck. Many big churches have them. Also see if there is a soup kitchen in your area. They may feed you for nothing. Call social services and find out what type of programs there are in your area that could help you out. Maybe if you help out at a soup kitchen, they might give you extra food. I hope you can find something to eat. Also...last thing I forgot...sign up to your local FREECYLE...go to freecycle.org and sign up to your local chapter (they work by state and then city/town) and ask for free food there. Somebody might be able to help you there. Also ask through craigslist.org. if you need further help, let me know. I might be able to help you do research.
