stuffonmycat.com is a Web site where users send in photos of their cats decorated with costumes, food, and other bizarre things. The site has become so popular there have been calendars and now a book.
It's funny to see. Some of the cats don't look too happy to have all these dumb things placed on them, though!www.stuffonmycat.com

No, I haven't seen this site before, but I will check it out. I couldn't get the page to come up just now, but will check on it later. I could just see me trying to put something on my cat. He has very long claws, he allows us to pet him and love on him, he would not tolerate us trying to dress him up. I think dogs like it more than cats do though.

emisle, If you submit a picture of your cat and it gets chosen for the site, your cat will want to negotiate royalties with you.
Yeah, I saw that cat-in-bikini pic, the cat does look pretty uncomfortable and annoyed. I don't care for pics like that.

I don't like the picture of charlie the cat in a bikini because he looks really uncomfortable, probably because his owner is pulling his legs up, but some of the other photos are SO cute especially the one of 'frosty' on the second page of the blog, love it!

My cat would be so mad if I put anything besides a blanket on her. I guess the cats in these photos don't mind as much as she does.

This is one of my favorite sites! I used to check it out daily, but I haven't really gone back to it in awhile now. The funny thing is, my best friend got a Stuffonmycat.com book for Christmas and she'd never even heard of the site! *laugh* I guess that the website is so popular now that the book must be in local stores and not just online, which intruiges me to hear! Because my friend's boyfriend works at Barnes & Noble, and she thikns that he probably picked the book up there. wee really doubt that he bought it online. So I found that really interesting.
Anyway, stuffonmycat is definitely one of the cutest sites around! I wish that they would start a sister site, stuffonmydog, though, lool, since dogs are my favorite animals on the planet! ^_^

I'v seen it and I love it. I'v ordered 3 desk top calendars from the website. I kept one for myself and gave the others as Christmas gifts. It's hilarious how cats look so darn cute with stuff on them. I didn't think any of them were mean or cruel to their pets. I'v put things on my cats all the time, and they don't even seem to notice, but they love the attention. I once put a salt and pepper shaker on my cats head and it stayed there for hours while she slept! Adorable!

yes i have seen it! i think its sooooo funny (as long as the cat isnt in pain or upset). Who on earth would think to come up with something like this??? i cant help but laugh because some of the cats look exactly like the cats i had until about a year ago and their expressions are priceless sometimes!

Haha, I've been visiting that site for a long time. Sometimes the pictures of those cats seem a little disturbing/uncomfortable, but I guess that's to be expected from time to time on a site called "Stuff On My Cat". So yeah, it's good for cuteness and cheap laughs. I have to wonder, though, why the cats put up with that...

I guess cats put up with it because they get free room and board, or because owners are much bigger than them and can squeeze little uniforms on them whether the cat likes it or not. Of course, we don't know what happens after the photos are taken--the cats might scratch and bite their owners.

You can tell by looking at that cat that he is not a happy cat. I don't thinlk I would do that to a cat. I tend to respect my cat. If I think she would not like something then I don't do it. I want to treat her as I would want to be treated

I don't like it. I love my cat and I wouldn't place any stuff on my cat just for profit. Sorry, people should know better. It makes me so mad. What are they thinking?

Some of the photos I've seen are cute and harmless; others look like they're probably uncomfortable or downright painful for the cat. I guess what the owners were thinking is that these items make the cat cuter, but a few of them border on abuse.

I haven't been to the site before but I do know sometimes cats can get some crazy stuff on them all by themselves. Now I don't agree in just putting things on them to make them look funny but stuff they do themselves is another story.

They have published books on this as well. Makes me laugh!! My cat would NEVER put up with this stuff. But he has his other funny quirks... like chasing "bed mice" that are actually just my feet. Ha ha...
I have a dog, however, that I could post some funny stuff on my dog pictures of.
