why are people such idiots?

Why don't go sometimes to eat in a expensive (but very good!) restaurant?... why don't want to have a nice look?... why sometimes don't do useless things?... I think doing these thing is not idiot. The only thing I agree with you is about war! Please don't thing people are stupid because they want simply.... live the life!

You are asking tought questions to answer... People are like animals: they can control their need for teritory, even if they will destroy others.. But unlike animals we do have brain, but we just don't use it..

In this day and age it would be very hard to agrue against you on this subject. It seems as time goes on we as a society grow less inteligant. We have come to learn that the important thing in life consists of two things. Haveing fun and having more. If we have very little we look around and see the oppulance all around us and we think why can't I have some of that. So we do what we can to make ourself feel like we do. WE eat out more often....we buy things we really don't need.....we go to movies or rent them when there is more than enough to watch for free. Our speicies has an internal need to have more. And the more we have the less we think we truly do have. And wars are caused by basicly the same thing. Whenever someone beleives they have the answer for everyone and have the power to do something about it war is only a little way off.

Why do we do all these things? Well I guess its all part of being a human in todays modern society. Everyone has different values, morals and ideas I guess but I don't think that we are all idiots. The only thing that I personally think makes us idiots at the moment, is that we and our ancestors have made the world what it is today and yet we're also ruining it at a rapid rate with global warming and not really doing that much about it. That is truly idiotic.
