Alright we have all seen the cingular wireless commericals and we all know their quote'He plan with the fewest dropped calls" well I find that to be a lie. I myself have cingular and not only does it charge WAY to much I get a dropped call every day. I have a very standard plan and never go over my minuets yet my bill is a $100 every month. AND I have a dropped call at least 2-3 times a day!! It is so irritating! What cellular plan is the best and cheapist???

I don't know about cheapest, but I live in Metairie, Louisiana, which is a suburb of New Orleans. I did not leave during Katrina and can tell you that I have Verizon and got better coverage from it them my brother who has Cingular and my dad who has Nextel. Not all dialed calls would go out because FEMA took down cell towers, but I never lost the text message services. I was able to stay in touch with people that way. So to me I would not change from Verizon no matter what.

i have to say that i have cingular also, and yes i think they do charge a little too much for their plans, but i can't tell you the last time i had a dropped call. I mean i will get them if i am driving and go into an area where there is no service, but i have never had one drop while i was standing in one place.
