Liscence to Rape

yeah...forcing the girl to marry her rapist is like giving the guy the licence to rape her. and how would a girl do anything other than detesting and hating this guy. i wonder why didn't the parents fail to understand what torture they will be putting their daughter through.

The most absurd thing I've heard of, doesn't the daughter have her rights to protect herself or make decisions for herself? What country are we talking about anyway?

How can a situation like this possibly be good? Take away a woman's dignity and then force her to live with it for the rest of her life?? I am assuming that a decision like this would be made because the girl's honour has been taken from her in a religious sense so therefore marrying the rapist somehow "cleanses" the situation. Disgusting.

i don't believe that a girl should ,marry her rapist. it is just another way of saying that men can do anything.

This is not the case where I come from (Australia)! It is a criminal offence for a man to rape a woman here! So I would say no it does not seem OK to me! It is the opposite infact! Pnushing the victim! Where are you from?

I think that is the most deporeable thing i have ever heard and i jsut thank god i live in a country that would never allow such a thing to take place

i completely agree with u.....a girl cann't live with a man for lifelong who has raped her....parents r wrong in pressurizing their daughter to marry a beast(the rapist)..........
