Decorating your home

I love wood, cherry the most. So I add lot's of wooden items. I also love flowers so I have tons of fake flowers every where, LOL. I want a warm cottage feel in my home. So that is what I go for. Now as for if I have it or not well that is a diffrent thing. My husband likes a metal appeal, so some of his things (that I can't pick up and move out of the room, lOl) kind of throughs it off a bit.

Feeling a bit guilty here .. my whole house needs decorating .. it's almost 20 years since I last did anything to it .. but I am hoping to move soon and then when my home is empty I can get it smartened up before I sell it ..

For myself I like a lot of candles all over the place. I have sconces on many of the walls along with candle holders on shelves. I think they can really add to a room. I do have artifical flowers, vines or leaves as well to make the place look better. I have a tendency to kill plants so I go with the artificial ones to make the place look brighter. It works for me anyways.

Yes i like my home to be beautiful and I will do everything just to make it more presentable.Putting some curtains,flowers and many more.I see to it that its always clean all the time.

Changing the wall paper with new type and new color.Then giving a new curtain and linen.Those thing are the big area in my room.When they are new,the room is decorate in a beautiful look.

i like to decorate my room anything that match with the collour of the wall. pillows, blanket everything with suit colour.

I love family pictures and prints of pictures I love. SOme nice soft pillows and of course nice plants to give that comforting aura.

Am a practical lady and so basic things are the norm. Plants are a big thing for me and my Amish rocking chair is a focal point by my woodstove for me. Don't need curtains since we are 1000 feet off the road. Concrete floors just need cleaning from time to time. My beauty is in the practical nature of daily living!

I hang lots of beautiful paintings in my home and some artificial plants in the room, that looks like very natural. It give us very coooool feeling and make the sorroundings very good and attractive.

I have a lot of quilts for color and comfort. My furniture is leather and is very big and oversized. It is very comfy. I also have a window shelf in my kitchen that has fresh herbs in terracotta pots. I love it.

I have lots of plants too. My living room is quite minimalist, very open pan and in light colours. I like to feel lots of light and space around me.

My living room is decorated in denim and lots of live plants.

oh i decorate my room and it is hard enough, i got poster, computer and al different kind of junk, i dont get how come girl have more decorate idea than guys , i swear to god, guys place either poster of some chick or post of cars, if they have a plant probaly from their girlfriend or soemthing.

gr8..but i think a lot of pics and posters make ur room look more lively..the color scheme of the room also matters..u can change the look of ur room by different color schemes and lights..
