The name Iran is a cognate of Aryan and literally means "Land of the Aryans".
Iran is one of the world's oldest major civilizations, with a history that covers four thousand years.
What do you think about Iran?

well,iran has an old civilization, but I think we iranians should stop boasting at our civilization and look around us, cause iran is really staying behind many countries, past century was maybe the worst. And lets look at our economy, our image in the world, it is all destroyed, we iranians should wake up and change things around us,we have so much oil and yet we have such a poor economy. We have so much resources and good labour, but our economy keeps going down,japanese went down to zero and now they are back up with the second best economy in the world. no resources,small country, densely populated.Its important to know where we came from,but thats all we are doing, keep talking about our history.what is the solution to current Iran problem?what do you think?

I know there are traitors in every country. When there was king rule in Iran why not ur ancestors stood up against him, everybody knows and its in the history that when it was king rule in Iran, poverty was much worse problem but u r shouting now when ur country is about to b an Atomic Power and see US eyes to eyes like South Korea did.....Malaysia did.. u must recollect history dude
