Personally, im not in favor of divorce and i do believe that marriage is a sacred vow by two people who promised to live together for the rest of their lives whether in times of happiness and difficulties. It may be to ideal but i still think that valuing the importance of marriage really matters specially today where a lot of changes is happening in the world. for me divorce is not the only way to solve a problem of every couple when they seemed to be incompatible about a lot of things. When theres divorce, a lot of people might become dependent on it that if things doesn't work out for both of them they can have divorce and then get married again with another person and the cycle again repeats. For divorce to be avoided, it is really important to get to know each other and accept each other for who he/she really is. thats why getting married is a major decision is life that should be considered.

I believe in it only because it happens so much, but I know that I would fight tooth and nail to avoid a divorce. To me marriage is a sacred vow, and that you only do it once. I have very 'old fashioned' views on this topic for sure.
I know that if it doesn't work out for me the first time, there won't be a second.

I truly beleive that marriage should be forever. I thought I had that. But there are somethings that can not be overlooked. If both partners are committed to each other and faithful then they should be able to work out problems as they arises.
When one does not share the same committment however the problems become very serious.
And from the divorce rate in the United States it is a clear indication commitment is not considered important anymore.
