why are you on mylot

I'm just wondering why people come on mylot,
is it to air opinions or to supplement your income. personally for me it was the latter at the start but as i soon realised you cannot make any serious money on mylot. After a few days i changed my attitude and use mylot more for my opinions and just reading different opinions about things.
whats your take on this

Hahaha, I'm just the same, I was referred to myLot by a close friend as a way to make a little extra cash, but I too soon realised that you cannot make a living on here, but there are some very fascinating (?)discussions on here. The cash is a bonus and I can understand how some people believe they can make a living on here, particularly those in poorer countries where a dollar is worth quite a lot of money.
