People use orkut as a means of chatting rather than scrapping...do u justify it?

now a days it has become quite common that people use orkut as a means to chat with each other rather than just sending scraps. there are a lot many messengers available ..even though people stick to orkut scraps...wel i think there is just one reason for that ..increasing the number of scraps....now i dont think this is right.....wat do u think friends...??
