My two dogs snore too! And very loud sometimes. I'm glad they sleep downstairs, and not in my bed. LOL
Otherwise i am awake 10 times a night, i guess....
But it's definately only when they are in a very deep sleep. First they fall into a dream, little shocking.... and then they begin to snore!

I've noticed that my dog dreams too, she'll whine and then she does these little bark things when she's dreaming! I also noticed that's the time when she doesn't snore after that. I wonder what she's dreaming about?? Thanks for your reply!! :-)

I had a Yorkie for 17 years growing up, and I never remember her snoring! It must be hard to get some peaceful sleep with the dog and the wife's snoring!! Thanks for your reply!! :-)

Thanks for the great reply and the great laugh about the cat!! The cat must be thinking...."can you tone that down a little bit?" :-)

My dogs kind of snort in their sleep; sometimes they wiggle and whine and are sleep-running; it is too funny, unless they wake me up! lol

My dog also whines in her sleep sometimes and even does these short little barks, as though she's dreaming! I'm right there with you, it's all funny, unless she wakes me up! Thanks for your reply!! :-)

I just wake my guy up, usually that solves it, If he's stuffed up, I put my mouth around his nose and gently blow into it to clear out his nasal passages. Gross?, depends on how you look at it.

I have two golden retrievers. They are brother and sister. the golden one is the girl and smaller and peppier and more frisky and in her sleep she jerks and twists and moves about and sometimes squeals just like her personality. The big one is white and he is a big oooph. He is full of spirit but slow moving. He sleeps all spread out and steadily snoring loudly.

My Boxer gets to snoring so loud sometimes that you can't even hear the TV anymore.Whith him it has nothing to do with his sleeping position....his airways are more restricted because of the shape of his nose.He will also bark and whine in his sleep when he's dreaming about something.I have noticed that the snoring is worse when he is really tired.

yeah, they don't really wake me up, and I actually find it soothing sometimes. I have one really old dog, and if he's snoring, I know he's still breathing!
before I got married, I had 3 dogs... and each one of them had their own distinctive snore. If I woke up at night, I knew who it was and where they were on the floor because of it. Sometimes it was all 3, and the chorus just made me smile

My dog snores so loud when he's sleeping and it wakes my husband and I up. It doesn't matter what position he's laying in. It's funny to her someone else has this problem to the degree that I do. My dog has always been extremely vocal from 7 weeks on. He also dreams alot and does this little barking under his breath sound and is constantly looking like his legs are taking him for a run in his sleep.

Only one of my dogs snore. He snores almost everyday but it is cute and not at all disturbing to me. I actually love it that he snores!
