I personally like all kinds of music. preferably rap/hip hop, country, and rock. But you definitley have to listen to 1. Chip the ripper. 2.Rap. 3. he's representin the S.L.A.B. in cleveland ohio. 4. he's just tight.

ok my favorite band would be Metallica,their genre is heavy metal or thrash metal.they are one of the best heavy metal bands according to me.they are from the the united states.It is a four piece band comprising of James Hetfield on vocals,Lars Ulrich on drums.Thses were the two who started up the band.Kirk Hammet who plays the lead guitar and Robert Trujillo who plays the Bass.they have a number of albums to their credit.The founder of Megadeth Dave Mustaine was a part of the band in the beginning.He was later made to leave because of his wild drinking habits and his agressive behaviour.He would later on go to start his own four piece band called Megadeth.

3. Benny goodman was born in chicago but he recorded the song sing sing sing in Hollywood
4.Benny Goodman started his career in 1926 and continued into the 1940's.
I love swing music and "Sing sing sing" is my favorite swing song.
