Im going to go all serious now, i know its very unlike me but this is important.
In November My brothers and I, and everyone else was shocked when my mum told us that she thought she had Breast Cancer, sadly she was right and late november had a partial mastectomy to try to remove all the cancerous material, this however was not a full success so they had to remove the whole breast two weeks later. It led to a slightly weird Christmas as its always been my mum in charge and now we had to organise everything such as presents, cooking, decorations all by ourselves. Four boys and you wouldn't believe how difficult it was, we range between 18 and 27 yet struggled to do a meal for 10. Anyway in short this experience has made me realise just how amazing my mum really is, i think she must be some sort of superwoman to have done so much for us all for so many years, to bring up four boys and my dad makes five by herself as well as working, thats quite staggering.
I wish to take this opportunity to thank all mums out there for the amazing job they do day in and day out with no recognition whatsoever, you are all truly amazing people.
P.S. my mum will be fine, so she can cook christmas dinner next year, all back to normal

I am a mother of seven children. :) So, I know what you mum did for you all.
But I have a great suggestion!
Next year instead of things being back to normal...
how about you help her instead. You would not believe how a great experience that can be for both of you! It not only helps, but it gives you quality time that you both would enjoy.
