Barbaro

Barbaro has again taken a turn for the worse and this time it may be the most serious of all since his injury last May. He's such a brave horse and he's shown us that he wants to live but his body is starting to show the effects of all the procedures he's had to endure these past eight months. Let's hope that once again he will rally and overcome this latest obstacle and let's all send Barbaro and his connections all our good thoughts and prayers for recovery.

Oh my god, I'm so sorry to hear this. I live in Pennsylvania about ten miles away from the New Bolton Center where Barbaro was treated and I thought they worked a miracle. There was a guarded prognosis for a long while but the last I heard he was out of the woods. Apparently not. I hope he's okay. It would be really heartbreaking to lose that horse now.
