I was so happy when i found out both times that i was pregnant! i didnt realize though, how much i would have to give up for my kiddos. Your life pretty much belongs to them as they are so innocent and so helpless. Even though i miss sleep, freedom, not having car seats and diapers to contend with, etc. i wouldnt dare change it for the world. ive never known love so unconditional or so strong until the first time i saw my newborn babies faces. Everything you give up doesnt amount to what you gain when you have a child. IF someone were to love you unconditionally, no matter what, its your child. You havent laid eyes on true beauty until you've laid eyes on your own children.

The feeling I had when I became a parent is inexplicable. It is the best and most wonderful feeling in the world, and job that cannot be replaced. There are certain things you give up when you become a parent such as staying out late, etc, but it's well worth it and I definitely wouldn't consider it a sacrifice because what I have in exchange is worth much more.

Have had to focus my energies more. Realized that a little person needed me to grow and thrive. Gave up going out just to go out. Well actually I went out, however, it was to the library for some me time without kids and came home better for it. My goals actually changed when kids came along. Each time seemed like a first time in reality. This is interesting and will check back to see what others have to say about this topic.

I couldn't have been more excited or more proud the first time I became a parent . I don't feel that I have had to give up anything but I gladly gave it up and have never looked back . I would do anything for my children as they are my world . I feel any goals I may have in life I can always do later in life . And so don't feel that I have had to give up anything .

Some of the things like school an career that I've had to put on hold have been made up by a few of the leasons I've learned from my child along the way. I think the most important thing that I've learned ahs been to have patience and tolerance with everything in life and things will eventually work out somehow.
