abortion

I think that of all the moral issues or taboos like homosexuality, divorce, euthanasia (mercy killing), cloning, etc., i find no qualification to justify abortion. Well, perhaps if the baby would be a detriment to the mother's health (called therapeutic abortion), then it should be okay. But abortion per se, for any other reason, should not be allowed.

I personally am against abortion but am not sure where I would stand in a situation that dealt with rape because I personally know it is a hard topic to even touch. Now I have learned to accept that any person is going to do what ever they please with their body because no matter how hard you try to convince them not to do it they still go forward with it. I mention this because recently for the first time I was in a situation where my friend had one and it was so hard for me to accept because of my beliefs and basically had not other way other than to accept the reality of their decision.
