You don't get star points by reaching 500. You get them by the quality of your posts. As you can see I have a 10 (at least right this minute I do) and I haven't reached 500 points yet.

You get a star by people giving you a positive rating in discussions. So a congrats is in order for you :) I was happy to find that I had reached a 10 today.

Wowee, you got a 10!. I have been hanging on to mine nine since I got awarded it. Still, it is congratulations to you. The moderators must have like what you posted - quality.

Lisado, see if you can write at least 5 sentences per post. I'm thinking you'll have a 10 very soon if you do that. Also, be sure to rate some other posts each day.

Hang in their momo...your star shows up when you reach 100 points. The number on the star is based on how many people have given you a plus on everything you've already written and some other 'secret' factors. So even if you don't have a star yet, write quality posts, and your first star might even be a 10. My first star was a 9, but it went up to 10 three days later. Good luck to you.

i just got my star today too. wow, ur a big 10 star, mine is only seven but il work on it by posting comments and discussions that makes sense and without copying anothers idea or topic. coz i see a lot of same thread here. maybe people should browse and see the topics already posted so they dont need to post it as a new topic. anyways! hope u keep tha big 10 star u have. googluck and many more postings to come for u and for me =)

Yes i was very happy as well as surprised to see my star for the first time also!! You get your star by the way after you reach 100 posts which i see that you have ... Congrats!!! Also the number that is in the star is your star rating and it is determined by the quality of the responding and posting that you do!!!
