Do you think designer jeans are worth the money?

My roommate owns many Sevens and Citizens for Humanity Jeans, but always complains of not having enough money for everyday things. I own one pair of jeans that are designer, but they aren't even my favorite pair. My favorite pair were $20 at Target. I was wondering, do you think its worth it to spend so much on designer jeans? if so, why?

Designer jeans mostly have very good quality and fitting. I have very few designer jeans and I love them all because they are skin tight and in very good colours. I guess you should go for designer clothes only if you really really love it because they are so expensive that makes it worth it.
