How do you React to Negative PostsoOn Mylot?

I've been a member for a little over 24 hours - and have had a terrible experience with one member in particular.
I have said nothing wrong or negative as I work with light and love.
A member judged me for my beliefs and said some awful things to me - yet then posted on the general dicussion page saying he doesn't want to judge people and wants to not be racist, apologizing to members for posting racist remarks.
Normally I don't let these things bother me - but I have done nothing to deserve such negative hurtful words and energy.
Has anyone ever had an experience like this on Mylot? If so - how did you handle it?
Thanks for your help. I am curious if this is a normal thing on this site, or if there are just a few Internet Trolls out there like the one I experienced.

this is very normal here in mylot. i understand what you feel being new here. there are just really people who will judge you prematurely based on your discussions. i dont know with these kind of people. it seems they would respond to your post only to express hate. they will say a lot of bad things about you as if they know you already by that single discussion you make.
i suggest you just ignore this people and give them a negative rating. you will be experiencing more and more people who will attack you personally for your discussions. just dont let them get the best of you.

I think when people respond in a negative maaner it is more about them than you. I saw your response to a negative person on another thread and actually thought you did a beautiful
job of dealing with it.

another qi woman..please send me some light and love cos i have a ruddy toothache lol and it's killing me..
don't take any notice..obviously that person has had a bad day..but don't let yourself be bullied either..i had a similar thing that sorted itself out..if you want to get it off your chest..just send a polite answer to the person that wrote to you..withoout anger or malice..just that you think that their remark was unjustified..i used to just put my head down and take crap..but now i politely speak my mind..but like you..with love..not war..
