formula for rubics cube

i have heard that there is a formula for solving the cubics cube.y father knew it 30 years ago but now he has forgotten it.i want to know wat the formula is .
is there any 1 who knows the formula?
the first person will b rewarded in diff ways .
so please let persons like me know the formula

I had a book in the 80's that told how to solve the cube. I would look on E-Bay.It tells how to move a sqare from side to side and position to position. It is not some thing you can tell, It has lots of pics. and text. If you could find someone with excellent memory they might remember, but I would try to find the book. It was called something like Solve the rubiks cube,or something like that.

I know how to solve the rubiks cube! the first step to solve it is to get the white cross. that means to get all the white corner pieces in the right place. the next step is to line it up. after that is filling in the corners. then you finished the first layer! then you do double layer, then flip the top layer, then swap any corners if you need to, then you have to move the corners in to the right place. then you're finished! well, i'm sure that you didn't understand that but you could just go on youtube and search up how to finish rubiks cube. many videos. =P

I have heard about a such formula too. I am not sure of it but it is a mathematical equation, most likely a university level or higher. Try googling it to find out, Im sure its out there if it exists, but do not get dissapointed if you do not understand how to work around it.

thank my father just cnt remem it correctly if he gets a slight clue he can recollect it .he told me this year ago so was thinking of cubes and this rubic cube came to mind
