Let him do all your jobs in the house for a month, how will he feel?

When I was sick not long after my son was born, my husband took time away to help me out with him. He did an incredible job keeping up with all the 'chores' around the house and taking care of a new baby. But it was only for a few days. After he went back to work, he admitted to me that it was the most difficult job he'd ever done and that although he loved being home with me and my son, is job at work was much easier and he had great respect for me being able to do it all the time. I think it takes a real man to admit how much work it is for homemakers. That comment made me feel so good.

I did that too when my wife got sick and it was not an easy job. waking up early to prepare food, wake up in the wee hours of the morning to check why the baby cries, changing and washing diapers, cooking, cleaning up the house, throwing the rubbish, attend to unannounced visitors, do shopping for groceries trying to figure out how to make ends meet, feed the pets, water the garden. Oh boy! being a wife is really a divine gift.

I'm sure he wouldn't do them exactly how I'd do them but honestly I think he'd do fine. Thankfully my hubby isn't domestically challenged. :)

you are lucky! some of my men friends don't even know how to change diapers and wouldn't even try it saying they might hurt the baby. lol (good excuse)
