I got married when I was 19 years old. Almost all of my family members were against the marriage because they thought I was too young. It was a very difficult time for me because I knew in my heart that it was right. I went against all of my family's warnings and married my husband anyway.
Six years later we are still married, have a wonderful child and still love each other very much. Now that my family knows my husband better they love him deeply and tell me often that they are glad I went ahead with my decision.
Would you have been able to get married at the opposition at all of your family members with the risk of alienating them for the hope that they would change their minds in the future?
