This morning when I opened my E-mail, I saw there's an email coming from Yahoo that says I won $500. My account was one of the top 12, and since it is on my inbox I opened it, the address seems legal but as I click on the link I was directed to another website that offers something else. Imagine they are able to use yahoo, there are so many affiliate programs and referral links that are plaguing myLot these days. I don't know which one is real and which are fraud. Other's are using it as part of their marketing plans. Do you happen to fall for anyone of those?

I learned a long time ago to only trust names I know and know others to have used. I don't trust links either and many times when I get emails stating this or that about a company, I open a new page and put that company's homepage address in myself and attempt to find it that way. Or I find a contact address and write them to question about it. You have to be careful of jerks that will scam you and get a hold of your bank account info and empty you dry.

You know, it's sad what scammers do to get money from people, but the thing is, the real sad thing is, it works for them. All that stupid stuff they pull scams tons of people each and every day, and that saddens me.
