can u tell me where is this statue and for wat purpose it is made?

That statue is in New York Harbor......I think on Staten Island......It was given to us by the French who had it made for us after the Civil War.....It was to show that the slaves had been freed......I've seen it three times when I cam in from Eroupe.......And it still gives me a chill when I see it because it affirms we are FREE.....

this statue is seen in newyorkkkkkkkkk..this is very attracting one....it was an extraordinary one.....washington named it america and it was one of defence and economically strong developed nation..
